Excuse me youngster, but I do know a thing or two about Errol.

I know Errol went to a house in P. Heights (when we had the contract) to supervise a burglary investigation and when the cop left (that was me by the way) Errol asked the victim (a female) to use the washroom. Shortly thereafter she found him standing in her bedroom wearing nothing but what God gave him. Ask Ron R., Bill A. and Denny G. about that one.

Errol was the #1 reason why we don't police the Heights anymore. Denny Walsh was the #2 reason.

When Bruce F. was in a hot tub with some hooker at a steam and cream up in Palatine, Errol did nothing about it, despite the fact that he walked in on them.

That was essentially the start of safebet, the chop shops, Jimmy Keating, Dianne Masters, etc.

When the FBI and US Attorney had their case GTG, I saw a bunch of Policemen being walked out of the Square and the "Q" in cuffs.

When a certain North DAC got drunk and 10-50'ed his covert car, Errol was the North Commander and he did nothing about it, although he had plenty of ammo to go to the Merit Board on it.

When a certain Lieutenant pulled a revolver on a certain Sergeant up in radio, he (as a Lieutenant in charge of radio) did nothing about it.

When a certain dispatcher had a fatal attraction for another dispatcher (married to one of our sergeants up north, long retired) he did nothing to stop this. Dispatcher #1 eventually went into the mens washroom and blew his brains out in the stall.

When a certain female dispatcher on our job was being harrassed by 2 coppers up in the north area; he did nothing. One of those cops made sergeant and went to IAD. He investigated another harrassment beef involving his friend (Madro) and Errol stood by while Wayne covered it up.

The whole thing about him crapping in his drawers stemmed from his diabetes and intolerence of wheat, undiagnosed is minimal. He was unhealthy. Diabetes is the root of all major health disorders that eventually fill caskets.

But, don't piss on my leg and tell me it is raining outside regarding Errol. RIP to him anyway.

I was out there for two days straight last week working my ass off with a bunch of other good officers, and all of these dumb asses Dwayne H., Mike S, Kevin R, Matt W, Ron Z, Ed L, Keith K, the Chief of staff just to name a few have no fucking idea how to organize clothes and run a fucking washing machine let alone a Police Department handling a crisis of this magnitude.
The off shot, the only smart one who stayed out of the circus ring is Ray F., he certainly dodged a transfer.

Someone asked my about Lee Instone shooting himself in the 2nd floor washroom. They replaced the tile in the stall and spackled the drywall long ago. You aren't going to find the damage.

However, if you go to the old Niles Station, you will find all sorts of bullet holes in the ceiling upstairs and across the street at the gin mill (Rossi's I think it was called, a white painted building with black opaque windows in the front). many of which placed their by Detectives and our old tactical unit!

One last Levy Story: He never paid for his meals at Zweig's deli on Golf. We all got halfers, Errol and Elliott were free.

This department has the worst detectives and NO I dont want to come up there.

Example, some Detective you are - you can't spell and you need a freshen up on 720...They are class X felonies, like the other felonies they are a real pain in the ass. You know the crimes that you super Detectives complain about because you have to call the ASA and expose yourselves as idiots. Then they make you fill out that pesky little form called a 101. That's a real brain teaser for the Detectives.

While we are discussing felony 101 have you considered the possibility that murder victims may have been "disposed of" there.

request - "Hey Joe, here is $1000, leave the gate open and a nice deep hole for me. I have an ex-wife or two to get rid of"
